THE INSPIRATION BEHIND LIBERTIE
As the temperatures drop and Autumn approaches, we find ourselves preparing for the cooler days ahead, reaching for oversized knits and fun quilted jackets, while basking in the warmth of the last days of the summer sun. We enjoy the quiet moments the new season brings us and reflect on the year ahead.
We turn inward and embrace our inner flower child and we celebrate Libertie,
- “the freedom to be oneself.”
The LILYA woman celebrates her inner beauty, she’s happy and carries herself authentically in the world, with her own unique style and individuality. We wanted to capture that spirit and the concept of the modern day ‘hippy’ in a confident yet a relaxed way.
Always taking cues from nature and its ever enchanting beauty, the collection features a palette of natural earthy tones, soft powdery blues and dusty pinks. Vintage floral prints (reminiscent of Laura Ashley in the 1980’s) are dappled throughout the season. Classic linen pants and timeless ribbed cotton singlets in warm sand exude minimalism and grace, designed with the natural fashion forward female in mind.
Libertie A/W 23 is filled with romantic silhouettes, which include two-toned floral maxi dresses and free flowing mini dresses that feature soft billowing sleeves. Feminine camisoles, (like our Nemo Top in Ivory) and utilitarian jackets (Jade Jacket in Mocca) are designed to be layered and matched with other pieces in the range. Crisp white’s in ivory and bone pair perfectly with our season sellout styles, like the Molly High Waisted Denim Jeans and shorts. The Knit Wrap Top and Ribbed Skirt Set in Sand colourway is made in a soft stretch cotton rib in Sand colourway and is one of our favourites for Autumn.
The collection is full of easy to wear, effortless ensembles that can be worn daily and comfortably incorporated into your wardrobe no matter the season.
